The move of the work camp and drilling equipment from the Wisdom Farm 5-1 location is completing, and everything is expected to be operational at the Naingopo well site by the end of the month.
The well remains on schedule to begin drilling this month and targets 163 MMbbl of unrisked prospective oil resources or 843 Bcf of unrisked prospective natural gas resources, net to ReconAfrica. Brian Reinsborough, President and CEO, said: “Our operations teams and contractors are very busy completing camping and equipment moves this week. Since our last update, the Jarvie-1 drill rig has undergone all maintenance and certification processes with no major issues noted. It has been dismantled and is being moved about 80 km from the Naingopo site. «The conductor hole has already been drilled and we continue working to drill it at the end of the month. Drilling the well is expected to take 90 days and will target multiple reservoir intervals in the highly promising Damara fold belt. “The process of our joint venture continues to move towards closure, and we aim to complete the transaction before drilling of the Naingopo well commences.”
